My brain has been fried with too much Yo Gabba Gabba this weekend. But when the boy is sick, he gets to watch whatever he wants! We went to bed on Friday around midnight and then at 3 Rocky woke up whining and he's been having nightmares lately and usually falls back asleep. But he was like whimpering so Scotty got up to comfort him but then he started to gag, and so I got up too, and we cuddled on the couch for a bit and watched Gabba to distract him. But then about 2 minutes after I down with him in bed, he puked. On my sheets. Gross. So then he was up until about 7 and got sick like 5 more times. It was actually really sad! I hate when he gets sick like that because it's hard to do anything for him. However, once I put some oils on his belly I could tell that gave him some relief. I am so happy I use them! So our Saturday was pretty much a bust since we were all
so tired from lack of sleep! But after lots of hydration and about 12 episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba, he is doing great again!!
I am just so thankful that he hasn't gotten sick with a cold or had his asthma flare up yet this winter *knock on wood!!* We've been extra careful with him, so I hope we can make it all the way through with no hospital visits!
Speaking of sickness and hospital visits. I'm getting surgery next week. Eeek! I have to get my gall bladder out. Which is actually a very common surgery and I'll be back to my good ol' self within a few days. I'll just have 4 small incisions and they'll pull that little sucker out. I decided to go to the doctor after telling a friend about my symptoms. She had just got hers out too and was like "Uh, Holly- that's the story of my life! Go get that checked out!" So I talked to the doctor, he ordered an ultrasound and they found gall stones. So basically I have stomach pain, and I get sick almost every time I eat, and blaaah.... I've dealt with it for years! It gets really intense sometimes. I could go into more detail, but I'll spare you!
I've had some pretty random medical shiz happen to me the past few years, but I've never had a surgery where I have been "put out". So it will be weird/scary for me. But the surgeon is really good and the only risks are bleeding and infection. I've had staph before, and it was AWFUL but I'm sure I'll be fine with this!!
Scotty will be taking great care of me (as always) so I'll just need to rest up so I can be back in action soon! I am just REALLY happy I don't have to stay at the freaking hospital. I'll just be in recovery for a few hours afterwards, and then I can go home and be waited on by my sweet man.
Anyways, that's all for now. I need to get to bed since I start a 6:30am schedule tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by!!

You'll be just fine, Hollz. Better than ever once you're healed. But since you and hospitals don't exactly have a good track record, you will definitely be in my prayers. Love you.
Oh, and Dane had the exact same thing as Rock only a day before. I'm sure they were sharing germs when he was at grandma's house. It's going around the family, and no, it's not fun!
Its horrible when kids puke!! Especially at night in beds! So, I hope the surgery goes really well for you and it fixes everything!!
I'm with Marisa on this one. You have some bad luck with hospitals and such....I'll pray too.
I can't believe you made it through 12 episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba...that has to be potentially fatal.
