On Second Thought....

So I'm sitting here thinking right now.... and maybe I won't go private.... I had all these plans to have this great new blog, and keep this one private, but now I don't think I want to do that! Mostly because I was going to put a lot of energy into it, and now I don't think I want to make time to manage 2 blogs!

Wanna know why? Good. I knew you did! It's because I've decided to become a Certified Foot Zoner! This is a decision that is going to take up a lot of my time and energy. Although I only have class 2 times a month (for 8 hours at a time!) for 4 months, I'll be doing plenty of practicing in between. So I'll need lots of different feet! Let me know if you want me to practice on you for free!

For those of you that don't know what foot zoning is, here is what you could call a definition:

Foot Zone Therapy is an ancient and complex alternative therapy based on the principles that our feet are the signal to the rest of our body . It involves applying directed pressure to the foot along various “zones”, or meridian channels, in order to stimulate other parts of the body. You can think of it as your foot being the keyboard to the rest of your body. Applying specialized pressure techniques to different areas of the foot will trigger different areas of the body.

If you want to read more about it click this link.

I love foot zoning and have personal experience that it is completely legit and one of the best things you can take time to do for yourself. Scotty likes to make fun of it calling it voodoo, haha!
But in all seriousness, the healing and difference that you can experience is pretty cool!

Anyways, I'm excited. Except I need to find someone to watch Rockwell one Saturday a month, but that shouldn't be too much of a headache. I didn't know if I should do it at first because I'm already away from Rock while I work during the week, but this is the best timing while we don't have another kid. Plus, if it goes well enough I could be home once again! But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. I really do love my job, so even if I just help family with my zoning skills, it will be so worth it. Can't wait to get started! Wish me luck!

All that hard work will be worth it. Sounds fairly intense as far as studying goes. Do you get some sort of license from it? I did some reading about it and it sounds interesting. However, you won't get to practice on my feet...I hate anyone touching them :-) I think we should have been born with wheels instead of feet...not like the creepy "Return to Oz" wheel monkey people...more like cool rollerblades or something that could be customized.
