Chatterbox Boy.

I haven't blogged in a month! Probably because I went on like this huge amazing vacay to New Zealand, Japan and Thailand. Pssssh..... I wish! I've actually just been really lazy. We've been having some fun here and there I'm just to lazy to charge my camera so I can take pictures. HA! Oh well, maybe August will be better :)

Today we stayed home from church. We're sick :( And with stupid crap like scratchy throats, coughs and runny noses...ya know, the basic cold stuff. I mean I guess we could have gone but we're lucky ducks and work in the nursery, so I'm pretty sure other parents don't want us germing up their kids. But yesterday was still awesome because I got to spend time with one of my best friends EVER... Katie! She lives in a far away land on the island of St.Martin while her husband attends school but she's visiting for the whole month yippie!! We met up at the Gateway but weren't in the mood to really shop so we just let Rock play in the fountain thing for a bit and then decided to head up to Ogden and just chill at my place!

So we just ended up chilling and watching CatFish. Has anyone seen that movie?! Holy shee, it's crazy. Rent it. It's an independent film and won at sorts of awards at Sundance. It's about this photographer who builds a relationship with this family on facebook because the 8 year old in the family started sending him awesome paintings of his photos.... and yeah. I know that doesn't really grip you but I if I go further I'll ruin it! Oh and it's a documentary-- total real life story.

Anyways- Rock is doing great! Just cut his hair really short yesterday and now he looks so big! I'll get a picture up soon. I just don't have one ready right now. He's getting so big it's crazy! He's saying lots of new words, running around like a little hellian, and just being adorable all around. As I type this he is in his crib, not sleeping, but sitting his stuffed animals in front of him and having a conversation with them. Haha! He cracks us up!! He's also started saying "Mine?Mine?Mine?Mine?Mine?" with a confused look on his face like "Why haven't you given that to me yet??" Kinda like the seagulls on Nemo, but he's never even seen that movie. He does it when he sees something he wants like a dog or food. But yeah- he's a little chatterbox!

Work is also going really great. I feel like I have a lot of room to grow and enough variety in what I do to not get burnt out. But oy- I hate the days when I get off and I just can't get out of work mode. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm not saying that I still want to work, but it's like a fog and a block in my head that I can't shake for like 2 hours. Maybe it's from staring at a computer all day or maybe it's because I'm insane. Tell me if that happens to you!

Alright well I'm REALLY going to try and post a couple more times this week. Scotty's brother Brad is leaving for his mission on Wednesday (Fort Worth,Texas) so that's a pretty big event! We'll miss the kid! We can talk about that later. Sorry no pictures though! Oh oh and I've done a couple of revival projects I will show off to you soon too!
