Update Day 5

So this is an update for Sunday, technically it's Monday since I'm writing this at 12:30 at night. This one is going to be shorter than the others since today was pretty uneventful for the most part. One good thing is that they did take out his ART line. What that does is it has a constant measure of his blood pressure and they stick it in a vein in his wrist. When they put stuff like that in they have to stitch it down so they cut it off and pulled it out and he did great! A little whimpering but hes a tough guy!

This morning we went to sacrament here at the hospital and it was just really cool because they spirit was so strong in there. Just walking in it hit you hard. Its was just a half hour service which dang, I wish they were all that short and sweet haha!! There was this really cute little girl in a wheelchair that kept saying "I wanna go see superman!!" over an over but she really meant the random Spiderman statue they have out in the hallway haha :)

He was awake a little bit today but wasn't playful like yesterday. Hes just really sleepy out of it so he only said Hi and Mama a couple of times. I'm sleeping in his room which I prefer to do now since the nurse doesn't sit in here 24/7 now that he has his tube out. I can't wanna leave my little Rocky alone!! Others don't seem to have a problem leaving their kids since some of them rarely have a parent at their side. Oh and the people I was sharing my nurse today with were like freaking out at her across the hall I could hear all of it and they were demanding that their kid get sedated more that hes been crying for 2 days straight. They are here for like an hour or so each day so they have no idea. Plus hes probably crying because they like argue and act like they know everything. They even yelled at the sweet nurse and demanded a new one. The kid only cries when they are around so um...yeah. If they do it again I'm calling security because they are just insane and they looked like they were on drugs. So glad we're in a private room and not out there where only curtains separate the patients!!

So hes doing ok, nothing has changed since yesterday really but then again, lots happened yesterday so that's ok! We had a lot of family come say hi today which we always love and my friend Kelsie that works here stopped in too! I was hoping we'd be up in the infant unit where she works by now. but it looks like that might be Tuesday.... I don't know its hard to say!! We're all ready to just be home, but I'll stay here as long as it takes! I'm not leaving my boy's side! Ok well of course this wasn't very short at all, but thanks for reading!
